Keep in mind: The level of protection bulletproof glass provides is directly tied to its thickness, which usually ranges between ¼ inch to 3 inches. The thicker the glass, the more expensive it is.
Bulletproofing an entire car will usually cost between $16,000 and $50,000 but can sometimes cost even more. The price is largely based on:
- The size of your car: Each panel of bulletproof material costs between $500 and $1,500—not including labor costs for installation.
- The areas you’d like bulletproofed: Bulletproofing more complex areas like the engine or gas tank increases the price.
