How much does it cost to fix a dented hood?

I was in an accident recently. There wasn’t too much damage other than the hood of my car, which is now dented. My friends told me I should just hammer out the dent myself, but I’d rather have a mechanic who knows what they’re doing take care of it. How much is this going to cost to fix?

I hear you on wanting the mechanic to handle it for you; sometimes it just feels better to put it in the hands of an experienced person.
You can typically expect small dent repairs to cost as low as $60 to $125while repairing large dents could cost $100 to $500 or more.
The
cost to repair
your dent will depend on several different factors, like the size and the hood’s material (which would determine the process to fix it) and how much time it takes.
One of the luckier aspects of the dent being on the hood is that it’s a flatter surface, and it’s a location where both sides of the dent are easier to get to. A serious dent elsewhere on your car could run costs into the thousands.
If you haven’t looked into it already, your insurance policy may cover this repair since it was in an accident. If you’re looking to revisit your
