How much does it cost to charge an electric car at Target?

I have a new Tesla Model 3, and I’ve been looking online to see the best places to charge my car (other than my house). I heard that some Targets have electric vehicle charging stations, but I can’t seem to find many details about it. I am in love with Target and would really love to start charging my car there. Do you know how much it costs to charge an electric car at Target?

You have great taste in electric cars! I too am a massive Target fan. The dollar spot is where the magic happens!
Supercharger, Chargepoint and Electrify America stations are becoming more and more popular at big chain retailers like Walmart and Target. They’re easy to find, and it’s super convenient to charge your car while you’re inside shopping for essentials. They’re also a great place to use the restroom on a
long road trip
!
  • Target has electric vehicle charging stations in more than 100 different stores throughout more than 20 states. Depending on your state, you may be able to find multiple charging stations outside of a single store.
  • Many of these charging stations are ChargePoint stations (Level 2) or
    Tesla Supercharger stations
    with 250 kW.
  • To charge your car at a Level 2 (6.6 kW) Chargepoint, you can get the first two hours for free. After that, it costs $2 per hour.
Now that you’ll be living your best life strolling down the aisles of Target while your Tesla charges outside, make sure overpriced car insurance doesn’t rain on your parade.
