How much does it cost to add a person to my car insurance?

My girlfriend just moved in with me, and I want to put her on my auto insurance policy. How much would it be to add somebody to an auto policy?

When adding another person to a car insurance policy, it’s important to realize that you’ll potentially have to pay an initial charge to add them and then face higher premiums for the foreseeable future.
If your girlfriend is a good driver, then you may find that it only costs you a one-off fee to amend the policy—maybe $30-$50. Drivers with previous records will cost more to add to your policy.
From there, the car she drives and her annual mileage can significantly affect the cost of your premium. Remember that different providers will change their rates differently, so it may be worth it to
