How much does car window replacement cost?

Someone broke my car window while I was sleeping the other night. The glass is not totally shattered, but I definitely need to get it fixed. How much will it cost me to get a replacement?

I’m sorry to hear about your window! If you’re worried, you might consider installing an
anti-theft device
to keep your car safe in the future.
As for car window replacement, you can usually expect to pay somewhere between $200 to $450, with the final price depending on the shop you choose, which window was smashed, and the kind of car you drive.
Some insurance policies will cover a broken window, so it’s worth looking into to see if you really need to pay for the damages out of pocket. If you find that your windows aren’t covered, check out the

app to browse better policies at better prices. You might even find something cheaper in the process!
