How much does a Toyota Scion TC tuning cost?

I just bought myself a Toyota Scion TC and a friend suggested that I get it "tuned." What is tunning and how much does it cost for that make/model?

The cost of
Toyota Scion TC
 tuning will vary quite a bit from one technician to the next—but typically, it’ll cost you between $400 and $500.
As for your other question about what tuning actually is, that’s pretty simple. Tuning is an umbrella term for extensive aftermarket modifications to a car to boost its performance, handling, and/or fuel economy.
Tuning can be a great way to squeeze some extra oomph out of your
Toyota
. Keep in mind, though, that significant modifications like that will increase your
car insurance
 rates.
