My friend bought a turbocharged Subaru Impreza and I really like it. I drive a non-turbo Impreza and I wondered if I could just add a turbo kit to it. How much would a turbo kit cost for a Subaru Impreza?

Subaru Impreza turbo kits do exist, and typically they cost between $2,000 and $4,000. This doesn’t include professional installation, which can add $1,000 or more to the cost, depending on how long the installation takes and what the mechanics charge.
While turbo kits are technically supposed to be “install and go,” there are some things to consider before getting one for your vehicle. With the increased airflow in your engine, other mechanical components – like your exhaust system or brakes – may also need to be upgraded. This can add more to the cost of turbocharging your vehicle.
