I was looking online for new wiper blades and was shocked to see such high prices. Maybe I’ve just gotten old, but how much do windshield wipers cost?

The average windshield wipers cost is about $30, depending on your make and model.
If you drive a common model, you can buy replacement wiper blades at your nearest auto supply shop for approximately $20 to $30. Rare and luxury models will cost a bit more.
Some places will help you install wiper blades for free, like AutoZone, if you buy them from their store. You can also get a mechanic to perform this service for a cumulative fee of around $50.
