How much air should I put in my BMW tires?

What’s the right amount of air to put in my BMW tires? They’re a little low from the cold, but I’ve heard that you can overfill tires.

You’re right that you can overfill tires, so it’s good that you’re being cautious! Typically, you should put 32 pounds per square inch (PSI) of air in your
BMW
tires. If you’d like to make sure that this measurement is true for your BMW, however, you can check the sticker on the inside of the driver’s door.
To check the pressure on your tires, you’ll need a tire pressure gauge. You can do this manually with a handheld gauge or an automatic air compressor, as most check your tires’ PSI before filling.
To use a manual gauge:
  • Remove the cap from the tire stem.
  • Place the gauge on the stem and press down firmly.
Once you get the reading, you can add air as needed.
Since you’re already checking out your tire pressure, why not check out your insurance options on the
