How many wheels does a fire truck have?

My daughter is obsessed with fire trucks right now and I’m planning to make a fire truck cake for her birthday, but I’m not sure how many wheels they have. Do fire trucks have a lot of wheels?

That’s such a sweet idea! I assume that you’ll want to make a
fire engine
cake since that is the most recognizable type of fire truck. Fire engines equipped with ladders and hoses typically have six wheels in total: four in the back and two in the front.
However, smaller fire trucks usually only have four wheels, just like a normal truck does. Fire trucks with specialized equipment have more tires because they require more power to move fast and, as most of us are aware, fire trucks need to be able to drive quickly to get to an emergency call in time.
