How many tries does it take to pass a driving test?

How many tries does it take most people to pass their driving test? I know that I’m only allowed three tries on my test and I’m really nervous that I won’t pass.

You’re right that many states allow you three tries within a year to pass your driving test, which is the average number of tries required for most
first-time drivers
to pass.
However, you’ll still be able to take your driving test again even if you fail three times! Usually, you’ll just have to pay an additional fee for a new exam. You might also be required to retake the written portion of the test or wait for a certain period of time to pass before you’re allowed another attempt.
Once you’re licensed and ready to roll, remember that you’ll need car insurance to legally hit the road. Insurance can be expensive for new drivers—but that doesn’t mean you have to overpay.
