How many Teslas were made in 2021?

Did Tesla make a lot of vehicles in 2021? I know that you need to get on a waitlist to buy a Tesla, so I’m curious to know how many were actually made.

There were a total of 930,400 Teslas made in 2021. This includes all Tesla models and makes from that year.
This is a lot of vehicles for this company to produce, and represents an 82.5% increase from the 2020 model year—meaning Teslas are becoming far less rare than they used to be.
Certain Tesla models also offer shortened wait times as of 2022, too. You’ll still need to wait for up to seven months for the Model X, but you can purchase most other models fairly quickly if you so choose. This is due in part to that 82.5% increase in production that we already mentioned!
