How many Subaru BRZ tS models were made?
I recently heard the Subaru BRZ tS made a comeback in 2020, but I still have a place in my heart for the 2018 models. I’d love to find and purchase one, but I’m worried they’re too rare to lock down. How many BRZ tS models were produced in 2018?

Subaru BRZ tS
! You’re also right that they were rare—only 500 units of the Subaru Tecnica International (STI) BRZ models were made before their termination in early February 2018.While the whereabouts of the 500 models are unknown, they were outfitted in the following paint colors that you might be able to spot:
- World Rally Blue: 226 units
- Crystal Black Silica: 104 units
- Crystal White Pearl: 170 units
There’s potential to source a 2018 BRZ tS as a pre-owned or certified pre-owned vehicle with a warranty and maintenance contract, but you’ll have to do some digging to confirm that.
If you’re unable to get behind the wheel of a 2018 model, you’ll have a better shot at landing a 2020 Subaru BRZ tS. Exactly 300 units were made for the US market with the following features:
- Front and rear suspension
- Brembo brakes
- Ceramic White paint with cherry red accents
- Black leather interior with red stitching
