Made only for the 1977 model year, the number of Pontiac Can Ams that were manufactured is a subject of debate, but it’s generally accepted that the number is between 1,133 and 1,377.
An amalgamation of the Pontiac Grand Am and the Pontiac LeMans, the Can Am was technically just the high-end trim of the 1977 LeMans, but with some intriguing extras, such as:
200-hp 6.6-liter V8
Cameo White paint job with red, yellow, and orange trim colors
Three-speed automatic transmission
