How many points before your license is suspended in Nebraska?

Does Nebraska suspend your driving license for having too many tickets? I got something in the mail that made me kinda worried but I’m not sure if it’s real or a scam.

If you get 12 points or more within two years, your license can be suspended or revoked in
Nebraska
. The suspension/revocation will last for six months, after which point you’ll need to *apply to get your license back**.
Points stay on your record for five years in Nebraska, so you can accumulate points pretty easily. While many states calculate the amount of time between points by the hearing date, Nebraska measures the points from the time of the violation, so the date on your ticket is exactly five years from the date that your violation will expire.
