If you get 12 points or more within two years, your license can be suspended or revoked in
Nebraska
. The suspension/revocation will last for six months, after which point you’ll need to *apply to get your license back**.Points stay on your record for five years in Nebraska, so you can accumulate points pretty easily. While many states calculate the amount of time between points by the hearing date, Nebraska measures the points from the time of the violation, so the date on your ticket is exactly five years from the date that your violation will expire.
