How many points before your license is suspended in Minnesota?

Will my license get suspended for getting two speeding tickets within a month in Minnesota? It feels like comically bad luck, but I’ve been pulled over and ticketed two times in the last month and now I’m worried about my record.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having such bad luck! While
Minnesota
does not have a points system, your license can still be suspended if you’re convicted of four moving violations in 12 months or five moving violations in 24 months, so it’s a good idea to be careful for a while.
Even without the points system, you can still see increased insurance rates as a consequence of traffic infractions. Two speeding tickets within a month, for example, could result in significantly higher insurance rates.
Fortunately, the
Jerry
app can help you find the best rates available to you, no matter what your driving record looks like. Just download the app and create a free account to learn more about your options.
