How many original Tesla Roadsters were made?
I love all things Tesla and I recently read that they plan to bring back the Tesla Roadster. While I knew about the original one, I wasn’t exactly sure how rare it was. How many Roadsters did Tesla originally make?

Produced from 2008 to 2012, the Tesla Roadster saw production numbers of around 2,400 to 2,500, making it Tesla’s rarest model. Aside from being the company’s first model, the Tesla Roadster was also the first electric car to go 200 miles on a single charge and the first electric car to use all lithium-ion battery cells.
Today, these collectibles can fetch a price as high as $1.5 million!
Tesla plans to release an updated version of the Roadster in the coming year. Although most of the details are still scant, the new 2023 Tesla Roadster is rumored to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in the world—if not the fastest.
