How many mistakes are allowed on a driving test in Georgia?

I’ve been practicing for the driving test in Georgia for months, but I’m still worried I won’t get a perfect score on it. Can I still pass even if I make a few mistakes?

To pass your Georgia driving test, you must achieve a score of at least 75 out of 100 possible points.
Your examiner will deduct points for minor mistakes they observe, but you can also be failed automatically if you commit any of the following actions during your Georgia driving test:
  • Failure to stop completely at a stop sign or red light
  • Speeding or driving too slowly as to impede traffic
  • Causing an accident
These are just a few of the actions that can result in an automatic test failure, but you won’t even be allowed to begin your test if you haven’t obtained minimum
liability coverage
.
