How many miles do Range Rovers last?

My partner and I are thinking about trading in our sedan for an SUV. I really like the Range Rover, but I have heard mixed reviews about their dependability. How many miles do Range Rovers last before I would need to get a new car?

Kudos on the upgrade—and kudos on doing your research before you buy! When you are upgrading to a luxury SUV, you want to make sure you get the longevity you are hoping for.
A new Range Rover will last 150,000 to 200,000 miles—but that will require you to drive conservatively and follow a strict
maintenance schedule
. Even then, plan on needing repairs along the way.
Range Rovers offer you a smooth, quiet ride with all the bells and whistles, but they’re not known for reliability *Consumer Reports rated the 2021 Range Rover a 1 out of 5 in their predicted reliability index.
Leasing
instead of buying may be an option that allows you to enjoy the ride for a few years without having to commit to expensive repair costs down the line.
As you trade up to a new vehicle, your insurance needs (and cost) may change as well.
