How many license points until a suspension in New Mexico?

Is it possible to get your license suspended for having too many speeding tickets? I get really nervous whenever I get a ticket that I’ll get my license suspended, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Yes, it’s possible! Once you reach 12 points or more within one year, your license can be suspended in
New Mexico
. After this amount of time, any points on your license will expire and you won’t need to worry about them affecting your license anymore.
Every speeding ticket is worth three to eight points, so you’ll have to be convicted of at least two speeding tickets (or a speeding ticket and a different charge) in order to reach a total of 12 points.
