How many Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland recalls are there?

I’m looking to purchase a used Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, but I want to make sure that if it’s got any recalls, they’ve all been taken care of. How many recalls does the Cherokee Overland have?

Unfortunately, a whopping 57 recalls have been issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) for the
Jeep
Grand Cherokee—however, not all of these recalls apply to the
Overland
trim level.
Additionally, each of these recalls only apply to specific model years. For example, in 2019,
Chrysler
recalled certain
Dodge Durango
and Jeep Grand Cherokee models from 2011-2013 that were equipped with a 3.6, 5.7, or 6.4-liter engine because the
fuel pump
relay was likely to fail, causing the vehicles to stall without warning.
The best way to find out if your Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland has been subject to any recalls? Contact your local Jeep dealership with your
Jeep VIN number
. They’ll be able to tell you about any relevant recalls and if they’ve been fixed. If they haven’t been addressed, they’ll be able to offer you guidance for getting things taken care of.
