The basic plan covers up to four calls a year, including towing up to five miles or to the responding AAA service facility, with the higher levels of service having greater benefit.
As roadside service calls are not limited specifically to towing, you may find that if you have already called for lockout service or a jump start, you would have fewer calls (including towing) remaining.
