How many Ford Mavericks were sold in 2022?

My 6 year old son loves trucks, and he’s helping some of the older students at school with a big, truck-related math project. He came flying into the house today like a bat out of hell, demanding to know how many Ford Mavericks were produced in 2022. Since we’ve implemented Mindful Mondays at home, the kids aren’t allowed any screen time Mondays after school. So I told him I’d get the answer for him when he went to bed. Ford Maverick
pickup trucks in the U.S. in 2022.
Your 6 year old son will certainly be interested to know that in 2022, more than 22,000 of the Mavericks sold in the U.S. were sold in the fourth quarter alone—performance that was better than each quarter before it.
In fact, Ford was so caught off guard by the demand for the 2022 Maverick that the
Michigan
-based carmaker had to push some of those orders into 2023.
What’s so great about the Maverick? Well, it’s considered a compact pickup truck and, while it’s smaller than, say an
F-150
, the Maverick still packs a punch, offering plenty of payload and towing capacity, unique design, versatility, and an affordable price. The 2023 Maverick has a starting MSRP of $23,690, and it’s even offered with a standard hybrid system, though you can swap that out for a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder if the hybrid doesn’t yank your crank.
