How many electric cars are there in Los Angeles?
California plans to ban the sale of gasoline-fueled cars by 2035, and I just don’t know how realistic that is. How many electric vehicles are currently in Los Angeles?

California
has mandated the ban on internal combustion engines starting in 2035. After seeing a registered 62,851 electric cars in L.A. alone, the state is well on its way. Even though sales of electric cars were only at 1% of the vehicle population in Los Angeles, the city has committed to an all-electric fleet of government cars by 2028. This adjustment will be a big step in helping to meet California’s overall emissions goals.
In addition, L.A. plans to provide 28,000 commercial car charging stations before the end of the decade and roughly half that number by 2025. One of the major factors influencing electric car sales other than price is charging infrastructure. These changes will help to sway residents of L.A. to make the switch.
