I’m visiting a friend in St. Louis, Missouri for a few weeks, and since I drive an EV I was curious about the number of EVs registered in the city. How many electric cars are registered in St Louis, MO?

The exact number of EVs in the city St. Louis isn’t recorded is unknown. However, the state of Missouri is moving towards the electrification of its auto fleet. At 6,740 EVs in the entire state of Missouri, you won’t be in the majority, but you probably won’t be the only other EV driver on the road in one of its major cities.
St. Louis recently implemented an electric public transit system. The metro station has a total of 18 buses so far in the fleet, and there are over 100 public charging stations in the Greater St. Louis Area. The city is not under a rock when it comes to the implementation of electric vehicles.
