How many electric car batteries have been made?
I know that electric cars have only recently started to become widely popular, but since their creation, how many electric car batteries have been made? And what do we do with all of them when they wear out?

While there’s no exact number to list how many electric car batteries have been made over the course of history, the amount is likely somewhere in the millions. One of the good things about electric car batteries, though, is that they last decades compared to a regular vehicle’s lead core-based battery. Electric vehicle batteries are also able to be recycled, meaning that less of each battery’s toxic chemicals make their way into drinking water or soil.
