How many Dodge Redeyes were made?

My friend and I were having a conversation yesterday about the Dodge Redeye and how many are on the roads. While I think the number is close to 10,000, they think it’s almost double that number. I can’t seem to find anything precise online. Do you know how many Dodge Redeyes were made?

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye was introduced to the market in 2019. So far, about 9,800 units have been produced, making it a pretty exclusive Challenger model. Here’s what makes this car so sought-after in the muscle car world.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye is a high-performance version of the more common Dodge Challenger. The Redeye is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque, and has an 8-speed automatic transmission. Redeye drivers benefit from a suite of high-performance enhancements, such as an upgraded suspension, larger brakes, and a high-performance exhaust system.
You can easily identify the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye from its distinctive design which features a wide body kit and a large functional hood scoop. The Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye can reach top speeds of 203 miles per hour and accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds. It’s easy to see why this car is a fan-favorite among muscle car enthusiasts.
