How many Dodge Ram SRT-10s were made?

I was talking to a buddy about sporty Dodge vehicles, and they mentioned that the SRT-10 borrowed designs and engine specs from the Dodge Viper. I don’t remember seeing this souped-up truck as part of the Dodge lineup, so how many of these Dodge Ram SRT-10s were made?

It’s interesting to look into Dodge’s lesser-known trucks! There were a few production runs, with the SRT-10 first being made in 2004 when they produced 3,057 trucks. The next year, Dodge Ram made 5,113, and they decreased production to 1,973 for the following year.
When all was said and done, Dodge Ram made a total of 10,046 SRT-10s—a pretty limited run! Still, the SRT-10 stands apart in a very small class of muscle truck cars.
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 was designed by DaimlerChrysler’s Performance Vehicles Division, and it uses a Dodge Viper engine in a Ram pickup truck. It boasts 500 horsepower and 525
pound-feet of torque
. That’s pretty impressive, especially when you consider that Dodge Ram designed this powerful pickup almost twenty years ago!
