How many Chrysler Prowlers were made?
My Grandpa loves scouring car auctions for hobby cars and he recently found an old Chrysler Prowler he wants me to help him fix up. I’m all for it, especially since he said we could sell it and split the profits when we’re done. How many of these roadsters were made before they were discontinued? We want to make sure our asking price is fair.

What a find! I’m sure that’s going to be a fun fix-up, and it sounds like you guys will be fair sellers, so I’m sure you’ll find a buyer.
From its overall production run between 1997 and 2002, 11,702 total Chrylser Prowlers were made. However, the answer may be different depending on what you consider to be a Chrysler Prowler.
When this two-door roadster first hit the market in 1997, it was under the name Plymouth Prowler. Chrysler was the parent company of the Plymouth brand, however, and chose to discontinue Plymouth. From then on, Prowlers were known as Chrysler Prowlers.
If we just look at the vehicles officially listed as “Chrylser Prowlers” and not “Plymouth Prowlers”, we’ll see there were only 3,170 of them made.
