How many cars can I add to my insurance?

I want to add my mom and brother to my car insurance policy. That would be three cars total. What is the maximum number of vehicles allowed on a single insurance policy?

Most car insurance providers will allow you to add up to four vehicles or four drivers on a single policy. There is no state-regulated limit for cars or drivers on a single policy, so it’s solely up to the insurance provider.
With
GEICO
, for example, you can have up to nine vehicles on a car insurance policy.
If you have more vehicles than what the provider allows: You might be required to get a separate policy for the additional vehicles.
For example: Let’s say you need to insure five cars, but your provider only allows four. You would be required to have two insurance policies. One would be for four cars; the other would be for the fifth.
Since many car insurance companies offer multi-vehicle discounts: Insurance providers limit the number of vehicles on a policy to help prevent misuse of discounts. It also prevents a business from insuring their vehicles on a personal auto policy.
If your new premium seems high after adding a vehicle to your policy: Try shopping around for a better rate. The
