How many cars are registered in North Dakota?

I know where my family lives is not the most populated state, but I’ve experienced some pretty bad traffic there before so I’m curious. Does North Dakota have a lot of cars?

There are 215,654 cars registered in the state of
North Dakota
, which is a relatively low number compared to a lot of other states in the U.S.
With that being said, however, North Dakota still ranks poorly for driver competence. This means that traffic in North Dakota can get pretty bad despite the relatively low number of vehicles on the roads.
North Dakota does have comparatively good roads, though, so you’ll be driving on even and well-maintained surfaces during your drive through the state. Since road conditions are good, driving late at night or early in the morning can help you to avoid some of the worst traffic and make your driving experience a little easier.
When driving in a state with bad drivers on the road, it’s also important to have a good insurance policy in place. Check out the
