How many cars are in Oklahoma?

I moved to Tulsa about six months ago and I’ve made quite a few friends. Some of them have even taken me out to their family farm or cabin to go hunting or mudding, which are two things I had never done before. Everyone seems like they own multiple cars for these hobbies. How many cars are there in Oklahoma?

With two major cities surrounded by miles of open land,
Oklahoma
has 94 cars for every 100 residents, which ranks the state 19th overall.
The U.S. Census Bureau reported that there were 3.73 million cars in Oklahoma in 2020.
Interestingly, car registrations rose 24.8% between 2015 and 2020— the largest increase of any state in the country. The population only rose by about 4% though, so this discrepancy is most likely the result of 2019 legislation requiring drivers to carry their
car registration
while driving and to register new cars within 30 days of purchase.
