How many Cadillac CTS-V were made?

I have been looking to buy a Cadillac CTS-V for some time now, but I can’t find many listings. Is the model rare? How many Cadillac CTS-V were made?

Over sixteen model years (2004 - 2019), just under 39,000
Cadillac CTS-V
were produced—which means the model isn’t exactly “rare,” but it certainly isn’t as prolific as other vehicles with a similar range of production.
For the model’s first generation (2004 - 2007), only 8,502 Cadillac CTS-V were built—during this time, the CTS-V was only offered as a 4-door sedan and was equipped with either a 5.7L pushrod OHV LS6 engine (2004 - 2005) or a 5.7L LS2 V8 engine (2006 - 2007).
The Cadillac CTS-V’s second generation (2010 - 2015) saw a marked increase in production, with approximately 23,668 units being manufactured over the six years. This generation saw the introduction of two new body styles—the coupe and wagon—alongside the original sedan.
For the third and final generation (2016 - 2019), production numbers dropped and only 6,327 units were built. The coupe and wagon body styles were cut for this generation, making the sedan the only available option.
A V-sport configuration of the Cadillac CTS-V sedan was briefly offered in 2016 that came equipped with a powerful twin-turbo 3.6L V6 engine—only 565 of these were built.
In total, 38,796 Cadillac CTS-Vs were built before the model was permanently discontinued In 2019, at which point it was replaced by the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
