Production and sales numbers are ambiguous, but we estimate less than 5,000 Buick Regal
TourX were made between 2018 and 2020. Buick’s mid-size sedan was originally marketed as a luxury car in the 1970s. When TourX was introduced in 2018, it became Buick’s first station wagon in decades.
The five-door lift-back sedan came with an all-wheel drive standard. The intention was not to tempt drivers to use their TourX for off-roading but to appeal to drivers who appreciate sportiness and luxury.
With enormous cargo space, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and three trim levels, the TourX had wide appeal. Unfortunately, the TourX was discontinued after just two years. It couldn’t compete with models such as the Audi Allroad.
You’re unlikely to spot a TourX around town, as it was a costly and fairly unique vehicle at the time. So if you saw one, congrats to you and your keen eyes! If you manage to spot another one in your lifetime, it might be time to buy a lotto ticket.
