Great question! The BMW R1200S is a somewhat rare luxury motorcycle—especially in the United States. While a definitive production figure is unclear, it seems as if about 7,000 were made in total. An unofficial source states that just 432 R1200Ses were sold in the US in 2006-2007. 105 of them were offered in the Shine Yellow color.

The BMW R1200S is a luxury sports motorcycle that was produced by BMW Motorrad from 2006 to 2007. Despite its rarity, it wasn’t (and still isn’t) a very popular bike. Its main competitor was the Ducati 999, which was both more powerful and a lot lighter.
