I recently purchased my first BMW, and have been doing a lot more research into the brand. I’m curious about the Alpina branch of the BMW family tree, and want to learn more about these ultra-rare performance cars! Do you know how many BMW Alpina B6 were made?

Alpina is a bespoke branch of BMW, and these machines are built with performance and beauty at the forefront. Only a few thousand BMW Alpina B6 models have been produced, and depending on the model year and features, the price tag can get into six figures for one of these luxurious beasts.

Some years of Alpinas were built entirely by hand, adding to the overall mystique of the model. Edmunds gave the 2019 Alpina B6 Gran Coupe a perfect 5/5, and estimated that a used one would cost upwards of $70,000—if you can even find one.

But if you do, make sure you get car insurance to match it, as this is one machine that deserves only the best.
