The more you know! According to a report from Volkswagen, 5,586 Bentley Bentaygas were produced in 2016.
Previewed publicly for the first time in 2015, the Bentayga was Bentley’s first crack at the SUV, and it was something of a trailblazer for the world of luxury SUVs. According to Bentley’s numbers, the original Bentayga’s 6.0-liter engine could do 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds and had a max speed of 187 mph.
The original 2017 model year began selling in 2016 and quickly outpaced Bentley’s predicted sales numbers. Of the original fleet, 608 2017 Bentley Bentaygas special edition models were produced for global sale, which sported 22-inch wheels and other unique styling details.
When we say the Bentley Bentayga is a luxury SUV, we mean it. The original MSRP for the base 2017 model was more than $230,000. And if you wanted that elusive First Edition? Over $300,000. (Imagine the

rate on that!)As you should for that price tag, you’d get a ton of customization options inside and out. We’re talking 90+ paint color options, premium leather, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and seats that are heated, ventilated, and massage-equipped.
If you were hoping for a better deal, you might be glad to know that the 2023 Bentayga’s starting MSRP has come down to about $167,000.
