How many Acura NSX were made in 2020?

I’m into supercars and their histories, and lately, the Acura NSX has been holding my attention. I keep reading that it didn’t do so well, even though it was a limited run. How many of them exist?

The Acura NSX definitely has had an interesting run. Only 128 units of the Acura NSX were made in 2020. Because the sales were so poor in Japan, Australia, the UK, and Europe—as few as three units sold, with none in Australia—Acura discontinued the NSX in these markets.

One reason the 2020 Acura NSX didn’t do so well was its out-of-date infotainment system. In particular, the graphics quality was criticized for being underwhelming.

The Acura NSX stuck around in the U.S. market for a couple of more years, with 2,900 units sold globally for the model’s seven-year run. The 2021 NSX Type S was more desirable than the 2020 model, but it wasn’t enough to save the NSX from discontinuation. The 2022 Acura NSX will be the last model of its line, with 300 units manufactured.
