How many 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons were made?
I came across an old promo article for the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and am obsessed! A street-legal drag car?! I need it! I am willing to pay a lot of money for one if I can get my hands on it but before I get my hopes up too high, how many were made in total? Are there many out there waiting for me?

I can definitely see the appeal of a street-legal drag car—that descriptor makes it sound closer to a thrill ride than a vehicle!
Unfortunately, only 3,300 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons were made so they’re on the rare side.
Dodge
rolled this muscle car out with the purpose of it being the only street-legal production drag car and it could reach such high speeds that the National Hot Rod Association banned it from the drag strip! Imagine a car being too fast for a drag strip. That’s some serious pickup. And with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Demon V8 kicking out 840 horsepower and 770 pound-feet torque, it’s easy to see how it accomplishes that feat.
Plus, when it leaves the starting line, it speeds up at 1.8 g and hits 30 mph in 1 second. And the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon can go 140 mph over a quarter mile in 9.65 seconds, which means it can’t race on a track without a roll cage!
Hopefully, you somehow make your way to a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon—but it’s good that you’re prepared to pay top dollar because that’ll likely be the asking price.
