I’m not sure how I just found out about the GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition but I’m obsessed with 2000s culture and want one. How many 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Editions were made?

The GMC made the Diamond Edition model to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the
Jimmy
nameplate. However, GMC never released the production numbers for this special edition anniversary model, so nobody really knows how many 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Editions were made.That may be because the Diamond Edition was not well received. It included impractical features such as a front push bar, which was entirely cosmetic without additional power added to the vehicle, and a uniquely bold interior design.
The Diamond Edition front and back seats as well as the door panels, were upholstered with diamond-pattern black leather. And the diamond theme continues on all four headrests, each of which has three diamonds embroidered in contrast in silver contrast stitching.
In addition, the small section of the front door panels without diamonds features the words “DIAMOND EDITION” embroidered in the same silver contrast stitching.
With an original MSRP of $34,520, the Diamond Edition was much more expensive than the base Jimmy model. Needless to say, the 2000 Jimmy Diamond Edition did not spike sales as GMC intended.
If you can find a 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond for sale, you can expect to pay somewhere between $2,175 and $4,521 for one in outstanding condition. You’ll also spend more at a dealership than if you buy used from a private party.
