How long will a DUI stay on my driving record in Oklahoma?

I was driving just outside of Tulsa last weekend after a wedding when I got booked for a DUI. I’m so frustrated with myself. Will a DUI stay on my Oklahoma driving record forever?

A DUI will stay on your driving record in Oklahoma for 10 years. However, you’ll have to take action to have the conviction expunged or sealed; otherwise, it will stay on your
Oklahoma
driving record permanently.
Having an
Oklahoma DUI
expunged from your record will effectively remove arrest and court records from your public record. Be aware, though, that law enforcement agencies will still be able to access your complete record.
To have your DUI conviction expunged or sealed in Oklahoma, you’ll have to pay a $150 fee. You have to pay an additional fee just for filing for expungement, and local law enforcement agencies may require one as well.
You aren’t required to have a lawyer for expungement, though it may be a good idea to hire one if you aren’t familiar with the legal paperwork and requirements involved. After everything is squared away on the legal end, your court and arrest records should be sealed in around one month.
