How long should you wait before driving on new concrete?

I just had a concrete pad poured in front of my garage, so my kids can play basketball. How long should I wait before I drive on it?

Your kids are going to love having a spot to play ball on!
Don’t let concrete’s quick-hardening tendencies fool you—to make sure your concrete has a chance to reach at least 90% of its strength potential before you put too much weight on it, you need to let it set for at least seven days before you drive on it.
If you have a particularly heavy vehicle, like a big pickup or an RV, you should keep those off the new slab for at least three weeks.
No matter what kind of vehicle you’ll have rolling over that new concrete, you need to make sure it’s covered with the best
