How long should you let Plasti Dip dry before driving?

I recently bought some Plasti Dip to try a different color on my car without committing to getting a paint job. I’m so excited to try it out. How long does Plasti Dip take to fully cure?

Plasti Dip is a great way to experiment with different colors on your car before committing to an expensive paint job.
According to the manufacturer’s website, you should let Plasti Dip dry for six to 24 hours before driving your vehicle. Hotter weather will allow for a faster drying time versus cooler weather.
Contrary to its name, Plasti Dip is more of a sprayable rubber than a plastic. Think of it kind of like a temporary tattoo or hair dye—but for your car.
Because Plasti Dip is a pressurized aerosol, you shouldn’t tamper with it until it has thoroughly cured. While it’s wet, it is subject to sagging or coming unstuck. So, exercise patience.
Changing your car’s color can be fun and easy. Finding affordable and reliable

should be, too.
