How long should I wait after base coat to add clear coat?

I decided that I’m going to try painting my car at home. I’ve already applied the base coat and now I’m waiting for it to fry up a bit before I apply the clear coat. How long should I wait after base coat to add clear coat?

Good question! Generally, you should wait 30 minutes after applying the base coat before you can start on the clear coat.
Once that 30 minutes is up, you can go ahead and add the clear coat. And that’s it! Enjoy watching the paint dry and thanks for visiting
