To get your driver’s permit, you’ll need to complete a one-hour Class E Knowledge Exam. The written test is the first step to getting your full
Florida driver’s license
There are 50 multiple-choice questions on the test: 40 on the rules of the road and 10 on road signs. You need at least 40 correct answers (or 80%) to pass. Studying the Official Florida Driver License Handbook and taking multiple practice exams can help improve both the speed and accuracy with which you take the test.
