The Dodge factory warranty includes both a 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty, and a 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. This warranty doesn’t cover basic maintenance and wear and tear — it only covers repairs and replacement parts that malfunction due to a manufacturer defect or poor workmanship.
This warranty length puts Dodge on par with almost every other automaker in the American market, including Ford, Chevy, GM, Toyota, and Honda, so you shouldn’t feel like you’re getting short-changed.
