How long does it take to sandblast a car?

I’ve been restoring a 1969 Ford Mustang and it’s time to get all the rust off. I am going to rent a sandblaster, but I’m worried about the expenses. How long can I expect to spend sandblasting my car?

Car restoration
is a great hobby, and you can even make extra money while you do it! For an average project with the car already disassembled, you can expect to spend two to four days sandblasting your restoration.
Sandblasting is a labor-intensive process and the time it will take depends on a few factors:
  • The size of your project
  • Type of sandblasting you will be doing
  • Size of the pot
  • The amount of pressure you use
Once your restoration is complete, consider getting the right kind of
