How long does it take to learn car driving
I’m about to start driver’s ed, but I’m itching to get behind the wheel on my own. On average, how long does it take to learn to drive a car?

The length of time it takes to learn car driving varies from driver to driver. But on average, most people feel comfortable after 45 hours of driving with an instructor and 25 hours of driving with a family member for a total of 70 hours.
Keep in mind that everyone is different. While 70 hours might be enough for you, someone else might need as many as 100 hours or as few as 60. Don’t stress about how long it takes you to learn to drive. You’ll know when you feel comfortable and confident enough to drive on your own.
