How long does it take to jumpstart a car battery for a Ford Focus?

How long does it take to jumpstart and to charge a car battery? I want to be prepared in case my battery dies on the road.

“The process of jumpstarting a car battery is straightforward and can be performed in a matter of minutes, depending on whether or not you have jumper cables and another vehicle available.
After you get your engine back and running, you’ll want to drive your vehicle for at least 15 minutes, but ideally 30 minutes, to recharge the battery.”
