How long does it take to get a car insurance card?
I just bought a car and got insurance, but I'm wary about driving it before I get the insurance card—I know it's illegal to drive without insurance, and although I'm technically covered, I don't want to take any chances. How long does it normally take to get a car insurance card?

In the meantime: You should definitely download a digital copy of your car insurance card to use as
proof of insurance
in case you’re pulled over. Doing so will prevent any citations you might receive as a result of failing to provide proof of insurance.One of the easiest ways to do this is through the wallet feature in the
